Over the past few years, Lucy Beckham has let animals become part of our school culture. For us, it is normal to walk down the hall with a dog on our side, whereas most schools wouldn’t dream of it. But, these dogs are sadly not here by choice. Most of them have been picked up from places where they would have been left all alone. Annie Andrews, a Junior in the Vet class says, “All of the animals here need adoption and come here for a push to get adopted.” They are all in need of adoption and people to take care of them. There are 6 puppies right now, every afternoon and weekend they need to be taken home so they don’t have to stay at the school. Even if you can’t adopt a puppy or kitty, the vet club needs people to foster and love them until they can find homes.
