Showing School Spirit

LBHS started the school year with a kick, with Friday being anything but a backpack day to begin the spirit week. This creates more hype within the school, helping to create a more positive atmosphere. On Sept. 29, the students of LBHS showed how interactive they can be with the school. Most students participated in the theme for the day, wearing neon or not bringing a backpack. Some examples of things used were suitcases, grocery store bags, toaster ovens, lawn chairs, a bucket, sleeping bags, a toolbox, golf bags, and a cooler. Some people got even more creative and brought a stroller, a small remote-controlled car with a trailer attached, a traffic cone, laundry baskets, a cage, and even a cereal box. This was only the beginning of the activities, with a whole fun week planned for the students to participate in.
