Caroline Graham has started her first year as a teacher at Lucy Beckham High School. She attended the College of Charleston and there she made her proudest achievement: the president of her scholarship program. She is an English teacher for Freshmen and Sophomores. In this role, she puts in grades, gives assignments, and tries to do fun activities! She believes her experience as a new teacher is enjoyable, but also stressful at the same time because she creates everything from scratch. Daily, her routine looks like this: She gets here at 6:30 a.m., gets a coffee, sets up for day lessons, puts in her slideshows, checks emails, and has the 1st period to plan. She is also in charge of the Taylor Swift club and mock trial. Graham describes herself in these three words: organized, understanding, and caring. Her goals for this year include making good relationships with everyone and having fun as much as possible. When asked what stands in the way of herself and her dreams her answer was: “I stand in the way of myself and my dreams because I am my biggest critic.”
