This week, the Bengal Beat interviewed Trinity Morris, a senior here at Beckham, who works primarily in the chorus elective. We discussed how she has changed over her years at Beckham and how she has influenced the school. One way Morris believes she has influenced the school is by helping the school choir and the kids in it. She said, “I love helping Mr. Weeks and being involved.” Morris hopes to attend Montreat College, saying, “I like that they have a considerably small community, and I like the opportunities that they offer. I also have a scholarship that made it easier to narrow down my path.” She has interests in teaching and pediatric dentistry, as she loves kids. Her favorite class she has ever taken is Chorus because she has “made a little family.” She says she loves the environment and singing. However, her least favorite class was AP Music Theory because “it was a lot of work.” When asked what makes her an interesting person, she said, “Probably my sport, shooting. I shoot and I sing. Two opposite sides of the spectrum.” After being asked about her hobby, shooting, she said, “My dad signed me up for shooting. I’ve been doing it for six years, and I love it.”
