With teamwork, skill, and determination, the Lucy Beckham Boys Lacrosse team has made history once again by winning the state championship for the third year in a row. Under the guidance of Parker Ferrigan, the team has overcome what many thought would not be possible again. The team’s record at the start of the season was pretty rough. They began 1-3, but throughout the season they showed amazing progress. Their journey to the state championship came with challenges, but with each obstacle they faced, they demonstrated determination and commitment in every match they played.
With their outstanding teamwork and defense, the team displayed skill on the field. What separated them from their rivals, however, was their commitment to the game and to one another. They won their third state championship because of their talent and perseverance. Ferrigan’s leadership and guidance have been key factors in the team’s success; his passion for the sport has inspired each of his players to be the best they can be. The Lucy Beckham Boys Lacrosse team celebrated their historic victory on April 27, 2024. The sky is the limit for this talented team.
