Fatchko and the Future of Cheerleading

Coach Fachko is the Head Cheer Coach at Lucy Beckham High School. She has been with the LBHS cheer team since the very beginning. Last year was the first year of competitive cheerleading and Fachko was the best person to lead the team because she has a lifetime of experience. Literally, she started with All-Star cheer in elementary school. She started school cheer in middle school and continued all the way through college. She cheered at Carolina for four years and started coaching during her senior year of college and never stopped. 

“I want us to be the best team in the lowcountry”.

She said when asked where she wanted the team to  be in 5 years. She’s not only a coach, she teaches Personal Health and P.E. classes. She makes everyone new feel comfortable coming into high school. Be sure to thank Coach Fachko when you see her in the halls for being such a big part of the LBHS staff.
