Lucy Beckham varsity football is almost back! Starting punter Sullivan Damron is excited for the new season to begin in the Fall of 2024. Sullivan Damron was asked which game of the season he was most excited for, to which he said, “The Wando game is one that I always look forward to, mostly because that is the one game of the season that almost everyone goes to, and I get to prove myself in front of a large crowd. But to win games, you need training, and starting May 1, that’s exactly what Lucy Beckham plans to do. Lucy Beckham beat Wando this past season with a final score of 43-0.” Sullivan also adds “In the off-season, we train well and hard.” Sullivan was also asked why he got into football in the first place, to which he answered that his brother played it, which interested him. Outside of football, Sullivan excels at math, and later in life, if he doesn’t play football, he would like to pursue real estate. Lucy Beckham has announced their schedule on the Beckhamfb_ account on Instagram.
