As summer comes upon us, many start to think about their plans. Summer is a chance for students to have a break and fun before the school year begins again. Many people are gone for the summer, while others spend the whole summer with their friends. This week, Lucy Beckham students shared their opinions on the topic. One student said, “I am away all summer, and when I come back, I feel like it has been a year since I saw my friends.” Another student mentioned, “I feel like I sit around all summer and get bored of seeing the same friends the whole time. I wish I could be traveling all summer.” Below are the results of the poll taken. Travel obtained more votes by a 14.2% difference, but it was a difficult choice for students. Many wanted to pick travel because they could take trips with friends, but it was an either/or situation. No matter what you are doing this summer, you will have a blast!
