With summer right around the corner, It is the perfect time to look for some hidden gems right here in Charleston. You would never guess but the Charleston area is full of fun new things to try and do with friends and family. Some places to check out would be, The Angel Oak Tree, Isle of Palms, Waterfront Park, The Battery, and the Charleston City Market. The Angel Oak Tree is on John’s Island and is said to be around 400 years old. This tree is one of the oldest living things in the United States! The Isle of Palms is a great place for both locals and tourists with its beautiful beach, restaurants, and many stores. The Waterfront Park is a public park in downtown Charleston and is a beautiful place to take pictures, hang out, and even watch dolphins in the water. This park also has a pineapple water fountain as a symbol of hospitality. The battery is a great place to take pictures but also enjoy the gorgeous views along the shores of Charleston. The Charleston City Market is located in the heart of downtown and goes down four blocks. The market is a great place to go to get some jewelry, clothing, artwork, souvenirs, and much more. We live in a stunning city and should make the most of it. Let’s explore these places this summer!
